Mr. Loftus serves as Chief Investment Officer of the fund and is involved in capital deployment and investment decision-making.
Mr. Loftus has been an investment-industry professional since 1985, having held Senior Vice President, and Principal-level positions at several major money-center banks in New York City. He served as a member of the original Morgan Stanley’s Private Client Services group (PCS) beginning in 1993. In 2002, after a comprehensive oral and written examination process, he received the highest-level Wealth Management certification that could be earned within Bank of America – the “Leading with Advice” (LWA) designation. As a Co-Founder of the Altus Group, a $500 million-dollar wealth management team at Citi Global Markets, Inc., and after then meeting the firm’s various commercial criteria levels , in 2007 he passed the “Citi Family Office” (CFO) examination, which both recognized his professional competence and enabled him to work with the firm’s largest and most important client relationships ($10 million+). In 2013, he founded The Altus Group Private Office in New York City, a wealth management solutions practice on the BNY Mellon/Pershing platform, where he serves as the Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer.
Mr. Loftus graduated with an Ars Baccalaureus Degree (A.B.) in Government from the College of William & Mary in Virginia. He also successfully completed the Wharton Online & Wall Street Prep Private Equity Certificate Program.
